Collaboration with the University of Alabama at Birmingham, with the Laboratory of Drs. David Briles y Susan Hollingshead: project on Pspa
This collaboration aimed to expand the knowledge of the possible coverage of a pneumococcal protein-based vaccine on S. pneumoniae isolates from the Region. The frequency of family 1 and 2 PspAs was establish among the isolates studied.
